Chris was awarded an OBE by Her Majesty the Queen in 2019 in recognition of his services to the Business and Charitable Sector.
In addition, in 2018, Chris received a Civic Business Award from Stockton Borough Council for his contribution to the Economic and Social fabric of the town over a 20 year period.
In 2021, Hartlepool Borough Council also recognised the achievements of Chris when he was granted the Freedom of Hartlepool, which is the highest honour a town can bestow on one of its citizens.
